Noah's Two Month Update

It is Noah's 2 month birthday today(technically it is his 8 week birthday. He will be two months on the 8th) and he is doing great! He can hold up his head a little better everyday. Sometimes he can even move it around. He smiles a lot when you talk or sing to him and sometimes even laughs spontaneously. He is talking more and more, but every time I try to film him, he is pretty much done talking. He is obsessed with trying to suck his thumb and spends a good part of the day working on that. He still doesn't have the coordination to do it and usually ends up sucking on his fist. Today I saw him get it in his mouth for the first time and I was proud of him, even though I don't want him to end up sucking his thumb all the time. Scott actually saw him do it for the first time a couple of days ago. Noah rolled over onto his stomach for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It was kind of random. I set him on his back on the couch to go get his milk and when I came back he was on his stomach. He hasn't done that again, but from the time he was just a week old he prefered to sleep on his side, and could roll to his side even if he was mummy wrapped. Noah just this last week has started sleeping for longer periods of time. Around 6 hours at a time is starting to be pretty normal for at least one stretch. He was having constipation problems when he first started formula about a month ago, but that has cleared up and he has been feeling much better. In the day he likes to be held constantly, probably because I hold him constantly, so if I set him down next to me he tends to cry. Right now he is sitting next to me in the boppy though and he is doing great. I was a little intimidated with cutting his nails, but it had to happen so I finally filed them today. He loved it. It must have tickled. He smiled with every finger. Noah loves to lie with his legs spread out and his arms curled up to his chest with his hands clasped together. Noah used to love to lie on your chest and could stay like that forever. Now he will try to lift his head up and will end up head butting you. His favorite position now is the football hold. Anytime he is crying, that settles him down. Going outside also always makes him happy. We go on walks everyday at Baker Park. It is nice having a beautiful park so close. A couple of weeks ago I spilled formula on my camera. I was surprised to see that it was okay and swore to be more careful. Then the next day it happened again, but it still worked and I swore THIS time I would be more careful. But sure enough, my lact-aid leaked and I woke up with my camera sitting in a pool of milk and this time it was broken. So that is why I only post videos. I am working on getting a replacement so stay posted for more cute pictures of Noah!

Hey Holly, try a Kodak Easyshare. I loved mine (until Sarah broke it by dropping it) and they come rather cheap. The 7 pixel one is only $109 at Target until July 12th. That's the one I had. They have a 10 pixel one (I hope I'm getting that right) that goes for about $130. I love it because it is small, but it takes really, really good photos and videos too! :) It even takes a variety of pictures (nighttime, action shots, etc.) I totally recommend it. I will be picking one up in a couple of weeks. It's pretty high-quality for such an inexpensive camera. :)
