After a week of rough days and nights, I decided to start keeping a sleep chart so that I could be better aware of when Noah needed to be put to bed before he got over tiered and couldnt sleep. This is mostly to show my sister Emily since I was telling her that I started it over the phone. It starts at the bottom with midnight and goes up. Each row is a day. Yellow is awake, green is asleep, red is crying and the purple lines are eating. After a few days I started making slashes on the purple lines to show how much he was eating. I don't know if you can tell since the numbers are so small, but the little guy gets up at 5 am almost every day now!

This is an awesome chart. I think I might give it a try, although I don't think I'll be as consistent as you about keeping up with it. I would have a lot of red lines in the middle of her naps for all the fits she throws. I can't wait until she learns to stay asleep!!!
Sometimes if he is really fussy throughout a whole nap, instead of keeping exact track, I just put alot of red dots throughout the green to show he was asleep for the period, but didnt rest well.
