Up until just last
week, Noah needed to be swaddled in order to fall asleep. He would usually struggle his arms lose while he slept, but couldn't fall asleep unless he was wrapped tight. This was annoying, because sometimes he would break out before falling asleep, and we would have to go in over and over to wrap him up again. Last week I decided it was time to end this habbit. It took about a week. I just stopped wrapping him up. I would just stick him in his bed wide awake, and if he shouted for me, I would go in and tell him to go sleep. In the beginning I had to go in quite a few times, but now it only takes one or two, and he is getting better. Plus he seems much happier to be able to sprawl out. He likes to play with his pacifier and his blankie. He likes to lay on his side and play with the side of the crib. For now he is in the pack and play until we get the crib set up from moving.
