Home Study

Scott and I started the paperwork for adoption before we left for IVF. The paperwork required to be able to have a profile up for adoption can take a long time to complete. For Noah's adoption it took 7 months to get all of the necessary background checks before we were able to have our profile up for birthmothers to see.

When we left for Costa Rica, the only thing we needed for our "homestudy"(which is the word used to describe all of the paperwork and interviews needed to be approved for adoption), was our final interview, which we had a week ago. We should be approved for adoption in the next week! We are feeling very excited about adopting again! We are so grateful for all of the love and support you have shown us as we have worked to grow our family!
