Plugging along
Well, I thought I would just report, that there is nothing to report. Our adoption profile has been up two months, but we are still waiting. We are thinking about embryo adoption too

Not
About a month ago we were contacted by a birthmother. She "chose" us....but just a few days into the process I could sense some red flags. That whole thing has come to an end now, but there were some highs and lows throughout the month. In the end I think it was a scam. Don't ask me why people do these scams....? We are on parentprofiles which is an online service. This is how Neena found us, so we wanted to try it again. The downside is that anyone has access and there is not an agency to be the middleman to make sure that they are genuine. In the future though I think that I will be able to remain more level about the whole thing when we get picked again. This time was such a roller coaster! Well keep your fingers crossed and keep us for the right birthmother to come along.

No more babies???
We were asked today by a mother if we were interested in adopting her 3 and 4 year olds. It is so hard to pass up on any opportunity to grow our family! We did say no though. We only want 2 or max 3 kids more and it would be sad to only get to experience having a small baby just once more.... or maybe never again. :(
On a happy note though, we have only had our profile up for 2 weeks and we are already having birthmothers write us. That gives us great hope!

Home Study
Scott and I started the paperwork for adoption before we left for IVF. The paperwork required to be able to have a profile up for adoption can take a long time to complete. For Noah's adoption it took 7 months to get all of the necessary background checks before we were able to have our profile up for birthmothers to see.
When we left for Costa Rica, the only thing we needed for our "homestudy"(which is the word used to describe all of the paperwork and interviews needed to be approved for adoption), was our final interview, which we had a week ago. We should be approved for adoption in the next week! We are feeling very excited about adopting again! We are so grateful for all of the love and support you have shown us as we have worked to grow our family!

Adoption
We have finished our homestudy and are going to be able to have our profile up in just a week or two. We are very excited about adopting. After a few stressful things in our first adoption we decided to try fertility, but over the past few months we have opened our hearts back up to the idea, and are really excited about moving forward. Negatory
Well it is official. I got my blood test results back today and it was negative. It's a shame but we are fine. We decided to put fertility treatment on hold and to move forward with adoption. If you know anyone who is considering adoption, please pass on our info! We should have a link to our profile up in a few weeks, but in the mean time, our family blog is www.scottnholly.blogspot.com. Our email is whereisholly@gmail.com.

No Embryos
Although I had 5 pretty good embryos on day 3, and only transfered 2, I did not have any that I was able to freeze. The Dr wanted them to get to the blasocyst stage before freezing them, and none made it that far. He said they all only made it to 16 cells. It is a bummer, I was hoping to have some to freeze. We are still waiting for our results to see if I am pregnant, but it is not looking optimistic.

The Waiting Begins!
Now we just have to wait! I can take a pregnancy test on the 28th.
With all the uncertaincy in early pregnany, if we are lucky enough to be pregnant, we are going to wait until after the first trimester to spread the word. We also don't plan on saying anything if we are not pregnant while we decide what to do next.
If you are curious of how things went you can check back here and I will update the blog once we have news to share!
Thank you so much for your support!

Day Seventeen
EMBRYO TRANSFER
Today I slept in a little today and then when down for breakfast at 8.30, and then I went back to bed! I I met some friends for lunch and am at their apt while they go in for their embryo transfer.
Today I slept in a little today and then when down for breakfast at 8.30, and then I went back to bed! I I met some friends for lunch and am at their apt while they go in for their embryo transfer.
After Lani and Chad's apt, they came back to the apartment. Everything went great for Chad and Lani.
Then Chad came with me to my apt since Scott is back in the states.
Scott and I decided to transfer only two embryos because of the risks to mom and baby in the case of trippletts.
I was so happy to see that all 5 of my eggs made it to the embryo stage. The Dr had said that there was a good chance I would end up with 3 embryos, so 5 was great!!!
I had 4 grade 1 which is the best, and 1 grade 2.
The Dr. said that my chance of pregnacy with each embryo was 20%. So I would have a 20% chance with one, a 40% chance with two and a 60% chance with three. He said that my chances with triplets was 1%. Those are some very convicing statistics, but I did stick to my guns and transfer two. The Dr strongly reccomend to transfer 3. It was very difficult to no switch last minute to three. I think if Scott was there, I might have caved.
I am on bed rest unil my flight home on the 18th!

Day Sixteen
Wow! Can you believe I have been here for 16 days?! I slept in a little this morning since I went to bed at 1am! Actually I got up around 8 because someone I met yesterday was nice enough to offer to help me with my shot.
It hurt more than the others, but not too bad. I am sore where I had my shot, but not too sore. I went to I think it is called Casado Viejo??? It is where the president lives and I think there is the oldest church in South America. Or maybe it was the second oldest? I took a cab ride home, and it was inexpensive and the driver was nice, so I had him drive me around and show me stuff for something to do.
I felt super stressed today for some reason, so was looking for a yoga class or a massage to help me mellow out before embryo transfer tomorrow. There is a massage place nearby that only charges $15 per 30 minutes, so I made plans to go there.
On my taxi ride I learned that the driver did massage for years, but now owns 3 taxis so doesnt do it much anymore. When I told him I was acutally getting a massage today he offered 2 hours for $20. Then like 3 minutes later he said I had a nice body. GROSS. I think I will pass on the super cheap massage from the old taxi driver.
I just got back to the hotel and am going to go get ready to go out again for the massage.
I saw a bike rental place, so maybe I will go out afterward and go for a bike ride and dinner.
I miss you Scott and Noah!!!!!!
Scott and Noah got home at 3am!!! Scott got a speeding ticket on the way home from the airport. Bummer. I don't blame him though! I want to get home quickly too!
I hope to hear from the boys again soon!
What a day!!! I just got back from my massage and everything that followed, and I am SO glad to be back. My massage was such an experience that I want to tell you every detail!!!
Before I say the story, I should say for those who don't know that I am a licensed massage therapist. I never worked much after school so I am a rookie, but I know all the little things that other people might not think about during a massage, and sooo many things went wrong!!! I found out after that only the owner of the salon has to have a license, and it was obvious that the therapist lacked in training.
The massage started out as they do in the U.S. with me taking off all of my clothes and getting under a sheet, or in this case a towel. When the therapist came back, she did not start music which drowns out back ground noise and helps you to relax. Instead she shoved cotton balls into my ears. I have tiny ear canals, so they popped out over and over and over, and she kept trying to stick them back in throughout the massage. Then I heard her put on latex gloves. I swear I don't have cooties! Then is was time to get started. She turned on a large fan pointing directly at me and took the towel completely off! Yikes! I was happy that I was facing down! The massage was terrible. She had a very rough touch and massaged so fast. She went over my spine over and over with her knuckles. For some reason she focused heavily on very ticklish places like my sides, and pinched them up and down over and over. When she massaged my legs, she did it so hard that I couldn't help but flinch. Unfortunately I did this by clenching my completely exposed bum bum. I kept trying not too, but couldn't help it. In the states when you apply oil, you apply it to your hands and then use your hands to spread it on the body. Here they squirt it directly out of the bottle on the your skin and it is soooo cold!!!
Halfway through the massage it occurred to me that she would probably have me turn over!!! I was really hoping that this was a back only, full body massage. Unfortunately not so! She had me roll over, completely naked! Yikes. For most of the massage at that point she stood at my head and would lean forward and go down my arms and also down the center of my chest(no boobs thankfully) and down my stomach. She was short and had to lean WAY over in order to reach all the way down my loooong torso. She had a very large busum, and every time she leaned forward, her breasts pressed hard against my face and I couldn't breath or see. It was so ridiculous that I could hardly keep from laughing! I had to use every ounce of focus I had to not burst into laughter which would have been very awkward considering the circumstances. There was a lot of other minor details that made the massage suck that I notice because of my training, like she was all over the place. To my leg, to my back, to my leg, to my neck, to my other leg, to my neck. When it is so choppy like this, it makes it difficult to relax. Speaking of relaxing I should mention that she put eucalyptus in the oil, so I was naked, freezing with a fan on my, and covered in eucalyptus oil which made me even colder! At one point she had me get up and sit on my knees(still naked) and bed over so that she could run her knuckles over my spine a little more!!! At least it was only $15 dollars.
I was ready to go back to go and rent a bicycle and go around town, but the taxi I got into already had a fare going to Albrook mall, so I decided to go there first. It is a HUGE mall. Scott and I went before with Noah, but we didn't even crack the surface. So I had heard that there was massage at the mall, and since my last one was so terrible, and since it was not expensive, I decided to give it another shot. This time the salon seemed much cleaner and much more professional.
It started out pretty much the same as the other one, very naked. I thought the other lady used a lot of oil. With this lady I was swimming in oil! She started out massaging my legs. For some reason she focused very heavily on the VERY MOST inner part of my thigh. Usually a massage therapist stokes about 3 times in each area, unless they are focusing on a specific muscle group. This was VERY superficial massage and she never addressed any muscles. So anyways, after about the 6th stroke to the inside of my upper thigh, I decided to start counting. She massaged other areas, but always came back to my thigh. I think I lost count after 20. When I had to roll over I was't suprised. But when she fully massaged my chest it caught me a little of gaurd. The worse part was actually that she covers you in soooo much oil, that at the end, she lathers a quarter of your body lengthwise, so like my front left side, in soap, and then wipes it off with papertowels and FREEZING COLD water. It felt like it took almost 5 minutes to get the soap off each quarter. I probably don't need to remind you that i am still completely naked, and as luck would have it, directly under the air conditioner By the end of the washing of my first quarter I had the goosebumps. By the second I was shaking a little. By the end of the third i could not keep my teeth from chattering, and by the end I think my lips were blue and I could not stop from visibly shaking. I don't get it. In school we were talk to recognize the tiniest sign of discomfort, like a slight movement of a curled toe, and to change so that they were comfortable. I think they enjoyed torturing me. Not really. At the end I was staring up at her, freezing, teeth chattering, and she said in Spanish, Did you enjoy it? What am I supposed to say? So, "Yes, it was great!" brrrrrrrrrrr! chatter, chatter, chatter!
After that I couldn't wait to get home. No more massages for me thank you! I think I ended the day more stressed and tense than when I started.
I talked to Scott tonight. He said that every few hours Noah would say MOOOOM! MOOOOM!
That looks like moom, but it sounds like mawm!
Anyways, very sad! I miss my baby!
Embryo Transfer is tomorrow!!!! I am hoping I have 4!!! Impant 2, Freeze two. Otherwise we have officially decided to only implant two no matter what.

Day Fifteen
Today first thing I went down for breakfast and was pleasantly suprised! We were told it was a continental breakfast, but in fact it was made to order american style breakfast food. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, omlete, what ever you want! It was great! I though I was ready to take on the world when I first woke up, but after not too long I was feeling very crampy and decided to take a nap so that I would be up for going out after Noah's nap. Scott was nice enough to take Noah for a nice long walk so I could sleep. They walked further up the historic hill that the hotel is on and even saw monkeys. Noah fell asleep on the walk home.
When Noah woke up we went to Miraflores to the Locks to see the Panama Canal. We had alot of fun and got to see a boat pass through the locks, saw the museum and watched a movie about the history of the Panama canal.
We then went out to eat. It was a place that served typical panamanian food cafteria style. They also had a grill area. I was boring and ordered a sandwich and fries form the grill. Scott was adventurous and got the local type of food, but was dissapointed. The food had all been sitting too long and was gross. We shared my sandwich and it was enough. He was still proud that he went the adventurous route.
Next we came home and packed. I decided to take the cab with the boys to the airport. I had been tearing up all day, anytime I thought about being apart from Noah. This will be our first time away from each other overnight. I will not see him for 6 days!!! We decided that Scott should take him home because the dr. suggests three whole days of bedrest after implantation. He said that I should not lift Noah at all in that time, and I dont really see how that would be possible, so Scott took him home. I cried the whole cab ride home. I am just going to try to keep busy to not think about it. I am sure Noah will be fine with Dad. Scott is taking the rest of the week off to be with him.
When I got back from the airport I saw in an email that one of the other girls that is here was at the hospital today and found out how many eggs fertilized! I got very excited and called the hospital and found that all five of my eggs were fertilized!!! This is great news!!!! Scott and I decided this morning not to transfer more than two embryos even if we only have three embryos, because the risk of triplets at my age and with our circumstances would be too high. That is why I am REALLY happy we have 5 fertilized eggs. If we have at least 4 embryos then we would have no delima as we would implant two and freeze two. We were trying to come to a decision on the number of embryos to plant now since Scott will not be there when it comes to decision time!
I was not planning on going out for dinner, but met a nice couple in the lobby and decided to catch a cab with them to town. I ended up eating with them and had a great time. I got to here some of their travel stories, and I told them about our trip. The wife is nice enough to do my shot tomorrow which I was nervous about. It is a progesterone shot and it goes in my bum and the needle is very long!
I will upload some pictures from today and yesturday soon. That will be the last of the pics for now as Scott and I accidentally left the charger in La Fortuna at the hotel and my battery is dead!!! What a bummer, we just can't manage to keep all of our stuff straight.
Oh, that reminds me of another bummer. On the way to La Fortuna(Arenal Volcano) we took a shuttle. I prepaid with a credit card, but forgot and paid the driver...plus tip. I was wondering why he looked at the money so strangely! I thought he wasnt happy with his tip! I wrote the company, but havent heard back. Bummer.
On a positive note I ALMOST lost my hotel key in a cab today which would have cost me $25, but realized just before he drove away completely, and I was able to chase him down. I need to get some deeper pockets!!
Okay, until tomorrow.....
ps, the spell checker is set to spanish so I can't check my spelling, and I know, I can't spell.

Day Fourteen
EGG RETRIEVAL
Well I had my egg retrieval today at 530 pm. I have 5 eggs. It is not a lot, but hopefully it will be okay. The doctor said I can hope for maybe 3 embryos. That kinda leaves a dilema with how many to transfer. I was really hoping for at least 4 so I could use two and freeze two. I guess there is still a chance I could have 4 embryos. I just got back and am feeling pretty sore, so I will fill you in on the rest of the details tomorrow. Our embryo transfer is set for 5pm Thursday. Keep us in your prayers!!
Now it is Day Fifteen, and I am trying to go back and remember what happened the rest of the day! Hmmm. Oh yes. We checked out early, I think at 6 am, and went straight to the airport. I had to start fasting at 9am in preparation for my surgery. I splurged at the airport and spent $6 on a Cinnabon and $6 on a disgusting Wendys croissant sandwich. I almost threw up as I ate it, but didn't want to waste the money so I choked it down. I don't what it was that put me off so much???
For the flight now was fussy at first but fell asleep. Luckily the flight was only about an hour so it was a piece of cake. We didn't get so lucky as I was on the way in, and had to wait through the the immigration and customs lines.
We are staying at a bed and breakfast called La Estancia. All of the hotels were so expensive here is Panama. I was trying to find a reasonably priced hotel somewhat near the clinic. This place is $75 a night which I think is pretty expensive, but it is half the price of all the places the places that had been suggested to me. It is very basic and has no TV, but it is way up a Ancon hill which is a historic hill and was occupied by the US military for years. I don't really know all the background, but it is a beautiful area and there are monkeys daily in the trees off the balcony. I saw 6 little cappichino moneys. It is very peaceful. I will just have to order take out the days i am on bedrest since there is no fridge or microwave in my room.
I was so nervous before my apt that I just wanted to sleep to make the time pass by. I ended up just going with Scott and Noah to the big mall here, and that was fun, the time went by fast and it was less depressing then just sleeping the time away.
I got to my apt early but didn't have to wait too long to get in. I think they called my name at 5:45 and I had a 5:30 apt. I went in, was shown to the bathroom, went in to a changing room and was instructed how to put on the paper clothes. I went into the operating room where the anestisiologist was waiting for me. I was soooo nervous. I was afraid to under anestesia. The nurse had a hard time finding a vein for the IV. She kept asking me to stop moving. Honestly, I thought I was as still as a statue! I think she had to prick me 4 times before she finally got it in. It was not little pricks either. It was like she would almost get the IV in and then lose it. My arm is still sore.
After the anestesiologist got the IV in she put a think on my finger to moniter my heart rate. My heart was going a million miles an hour. She said that she could not do the anestesia until I calmed down. She asked why I was so scared, and I said that I don't like the feeling of not knowing what is going to happen while I am asleep. I was able to calm down by closing my eyes and singing songs in my head. While my eyes were closed I could here the Dr and I think a nurse or two come in. He asked the anestesiologist how I was and she said in Spanish that I was very nervous. The Dr agreed and that is the last thing I remember until it was over.
I don't really remember waking up or moving to the little recovery room, but I remember them putting my clothes on my stomach. I asked in a complete daze, "How many did you get?" There were two nurses in the room, so one left to find out. The other nurse asked in Spanish how I was and I said that I just wanted to rest. The other nurse came back in and said that I had 5 eggs, as I was lying curled up in a ball with very strong cramps. After lying for a few minutes I realized that I wanted to see Scott and quickly got dressed and tried to leave the room, but realized it was locked from the outside. I layed backdown, still feeling very sore and groggy. After not too long a nurse came in to give me my first progesterone shot. I think the needle was probably 5 times longer than the cetrotide needle, but at the time I was so out of it, I really didn't care. She gave me my shot in my rear and asked my husbands name. I was so happy to see Scott and told him we had 5 eggs. We went into the office where the Dr was waiting for us. He went over our results and what to expect next. He asked if we had any questions. We bought the other 9 progesterone shots from the nurse. It wasn't until later that I realized that no one explained to me how to use them! I was too out of it to be thinking to ask that. Another girl who is here for IVF is staying across form the hospital, so she was able to go back to the hospital today for instructions. The shots only have to be taken every other day, and to my dissappointment, yes, the needle does have to go all the way in!
I was feeling very crampy when we left, but didn't want to sit and wait. I just wanted to go back to the hotel. Did I mention I had been fasting since 9am? I had to stop a few times on the way down to the cab feeling crampy and dizzy. I layed down in the cab, and got into bed when we got back. After a little bit I started to feel a little better, and decided to take a warm shower. After the shower I felt so much better, and by the time I went to sleep(about 2 hours after the procedure) I was only a little tender, but not really in pain. As far as the anestesia, I felt much better after about 45 minutes to an hour. It was much better than when I had surgery on my broken pinky toe, which pretty much put me out for the entire day!
Well there is my whole story of my egg retrieval with no details missed(and lots of mispelled words I am sure. I will have to go back through and proofread, but it is one a.m. so I am going to save that task for another day!

Day Thirteen
Let's see. Today Scott let me sleep in again. Hurray for an awesome husband! I wanted pancakes so bad, but they have not had those here before, so I didn't think that they would have them. When i went back to sleep I dreamed that I went down for breakfast and they had pancakes. When I woke up they really did have pancakes!!! I was so happy. I ate 7 little pancakes!
After Noah's nap we went to the grocery store for some baby stuff, and then we went into San Jose. Scott watched the last hour of the world cup in a store.
I realized that I left all of my makeup at the last hotel. Very sad. I bought some mascara at least.
We came home and all took an afternoon nap.
Then we went out to dinner at 7pm with another couple, Lani and Chad that are also here for IVF.
We had a nice dinner, and now we are back in bed!!! It was a pretty simple day.
Early in the morning we fly out to Panama. I have my egg retrieval at 5:30 pm.
I was so happy thinking that I was all done with the shots, but I found out at dinner that the progesterone that I have to take for 10 days is also in shot form, and I heard that it is the most painful, and done in my rear! Scott will not be here for that, so I guess I will have to figure out something until I get back home. I might walk over to Lani's hotel and she can do it for me.
Okay, well I will check in tomorrow!
Noah had fun at the toy store.
In town everyone paused to watch the end of the world cup.

Day Twelve
THIRD APPOINTMENT, ULTRA SOUND, INSTRUCTIONS FOR OVIDREL
Today is our last day at the Arenal Volcano. Originally to make things simple, we were just going to stay in San Jose near the clinic since my appointments were only a couple of days apart and also I didn't want Scott to have the 3 hour drive here just after his plane trip.
I am so glad that we made this last minute change of plans though. This has been one of the best parts of the trip for me, and it was so much better to have this little vacation with Scott instead of just waiting in the city for my appointment. We can't do as many things as we would be able to without a baby, but I still had lots of fun.
It was kind of a rough night last night. Noah slept with us as he has been doing since the start of this trip. He was crawling all over the place in his sleep and was really restless. Once I woke up and he was near my feet at the bottom of the bed. I moved him back up, but then I couldn't sleep well because he was still rolling all around and I was afraid of him falling off. I haven't really been able to get him to sleep in a crib on this trip. Hopefully it won't be too hard to get him back into his routine when we get home.
I am in a dilemma about what to do with Noah for the last part of the trip. Originally Noah was going to stay with me when Scott leaves on the 13th, and then we would follow on the 18th. To make things easier for me after embryo transfer we decided to have Noah go home with Scott instead since I will be on bed rest for a portion and won't be able to lift him. He is so attached to me though, I feel bad to be away from him for 5 whole days!!! I am going to think about it for a couple days and see if there is a way i could work it out to keep him with me.
So anyway, Scott was nice enough to get up with Noah at 5 and let me sleep in until after 7:00. We had breakfast and went for a walk and now the boys are taking a nap together while I work on the blog. Our ride back to San Jose will be here at noon.
I have another appointment today at 5:15 where I will have another ultrasound to see how things are going. I took my last Cetrotide and Gonal F shots today. I am anxious to have my appointment and to see how things are since my first appointment results were not so great, and because I just want to make sure everything is okay with the medications since I left them out overnight the other day.
It is 8pm now and we are all settling into bed. Our ride back to San Jose ws pretty good. Noah wasn't too ancy and he eventually fell asleep. We got into town and went straight to Soda Tapias for lunch/dinner. It was pouring rain so we took a cab the short distance to the hotel.
After getting settled in we left for my apt. Things went pretty good. I still have 7 follicles which is goood. I take my Ovadril shot tomorrow morning at 5:30 am, and then I have my egg retrieval at 5:30pm on Monday.
In the meantime we are just haning out in San Jose. We leave for Panama on Monday morning.
Good bye beautiful garden.

Day Eleven
I have even more pictures for today!!!! Scroll down to see what happened early in the morning!
When we came back from breakfast our room was clean and we had a new animal sitting on our bed! How creative!
Noah found his sunglasses and had soooo much fun trying them on.
We went into town to get our laundry done. It was going to be a 1.5 hour wait, so we were looking for something to kill the time. Just in front of the laundry place was an ATV rental. Although it may be a little crazy to go with a baby, we decided to go for it! Noah cried when we first put on his helmet, but then he was pretty much okay with it.
We had about a 10 or 15 minuted ride to the waterfall. There were soooo many stairs!!! See the video below.
The water was crystal clear and very blue. It was beautiful
Unfortunately we didn't come prepared with swim suits, but that didn't stop the boys.
In true boy fashion, Noah had fun playing in the sand. He sat naked on the hill and scooted down it like it was a slide. I decided not to show what his bum crack looked like after that, but I am sure you can guess!
Noah was sure to share some sand with Daddy.
We had so much fun wading around in the water, but eventually we got ready to head back up.
At most of the hotel they have a bath type spout in the showers. It is strange. I don't really know what it is for, except maybe washing the sand off your feet????
Noah really likes it though! It is the perfect height for him to play with the water.
This morning we got up at 5:00, but breakfast is not served until 7:00
We decided to take a nice walk around the garden.
There are motor bikes and ATVs parked in front of the office, so Noah had fun playing with those.
We walked by the pool. Noah thought the water felt nice.
So he thought he might jump in!!
Finally breakfast was ready!
It was worth the wait!!!
Since breakfast is from 7:00 to 9:30, Scott went back and had a second breakfast!
Noah has fun pushing these recycle bins so that they swing back and forth.
This morning Scott gave me my shots with out a problem. He just did it with no hesitation. What a good man nurse! When I asked if he could do them for me he said, "of course honey, what ever you need." What a good husband!
Unfortunately there were a couple other problems with my meds this morning.
My medications have to be refrigerated. I had them in a small bottle cooler with an ice pack for our 3 hour trip to Arenal. Then when we arrived at the hotel, I put the whole pack in the refrigerator. When I went to take my meds this morning, I realized that the refrigerator was not plugged in!! I took my shots anyways. I had to wait 5 hours for the pharmacy and the doctors to open. The pharmacist says that the medications are no longer good and I will need new ones. The doctor says that since it is cool here, they will be fine, and that they are only damaged if they are warmer than 25 degrees Celsius, and it was cooler than that. Well I have an apt tomorrow, so I will see how it is all going, but the problem is that then it will be the weekend, and the pharmacy will be closed.
I hope all is good. It would be terrible to ruin it all with a stupid mistake like not plugging in the fridge!
The other problem is that the cetrotide comes as crystals in an ampule, and the solvent is in the syringe. You need to attach a large needle to inject the solvent into the ampule, and when the crystals are dissolved, you suck it all back into the syringe and take the shot(with a different needle) I guess the large needle was not on all the way, because when I injected the solvant into the ampule, almost all of it leaked out onto the bed! I only had a tiny bit of solvant in with the crystals, but they did dissolve so i just used the little bit I had. I think it should be fine though since I injected all of the cetrotide.
That was a stressful moment!

I loved how when we asked Noah to smile for the picture, he moved in and pressed his face against mine.
Noah loved passing over these bridges. They were high up and transparent so you could see the ground. It was kinda scary, but Noah would hop out of our arms and run across! He had so much fun!
The stairs were exhausting! They seemed to go on forever. See the video below.
me on the ATV in front of the base of the hike.
Noah was cool with his helmet on the way home. The noise and bouncing of the ATV made Noah fall asleep on the way back. See the video below.
Noah was completely out by the time we got back to the rental place. He slept on the way back to the hotel, and half way through lunch at the hotel restaurant.
After lunch we went to the pool. Noah had lots of fun watering Scott. Below is a video from yesterday of Noah and Scott playing in the water
