About a month ago we were contacted by a birthmother. She "chose" us....but just a few days into the process I could sense some red flags. That whole thing has come to an end now, but there were some highs and lows throughout the month. In the end I think it was a scam. Don't ask me why people do these scams....? We are on parentprofiles which is an online service. This is how Neena found us, so we wanted to try it again. The downside is that anyone has access and there is not an agency to be the middleman to make sure that they are genuine. In the future though I think that I will be able to remain more level about the whole thing when we get picked again. This time was such a roller coaster! Well keep your fingers crossed and keep us for the right birthmother to come along.
