Day Eight!

Good morning! Wow, I can't believe I have been here eight days! I am ready for Scott to come! This is our last full day on the beach and tomorrow we take a bus back to San Jose.
I am soooo happy to have my camera back. so here is a picture of my little cuttie!

So today was a fun day! We went out and had a walk on the beach first thing in the morning. We met a nice couple from Canada who invited us for a hike early tomorrow morning.
Russ, (the husband) told me about a nice beach called Estaria that I decided we would check out after Noah's nap. It was quite the taxi ride, but I had a lot of fun. I would have liked to have stayed longer. Noah was very timid at first of the water, and at first didn't even like it when i got my ankles wet, but by the end of the day he would run into the water as long as I was holding his hands.
Noah is really starting to be comfortable in the water and starting to have fun. He still wants to get out and play on the side after a couple of minutes, but then he will get back in.
Then we went for a swim in the pool and had a yummy breakfast. We went to the beach that Russ suggested and I had a great time! We came home and Noah and I took a walk on the beach. He had so much fun playing in the gooey sand!
Noah could do this all day!
Looking sleepy at 5:30 am.

We had a yummy typical Costa Rican breakfast at the hotel.
Noah loved the scrambled eggs.

Noah is so easy to put to sleep now that we are in a bit of a routine!
I hold him and give him a bottle and sing to him, and he is completely asleep in only a few minutes! Then I roll him over to sleep on his own on the bed.

When Noah woke up we got ready to head over to Esterias beach, but first....ICE CREAM!
Noah was not happy that i set him down to get out my money.

The picture doesnt do it justice. The water was so warm, and the weather was perfect with a light overcast.

It was fun walking on the beach with Noah

Neena is afraid of the ocean, or as she puts it, her and the ocean don't mix, but she got brave and took a quick dip.

I found a wishing stone for good luck. It reminds me of my dad.

We miss you dad!

The sand was soft and the water was so warm!! I found a really cool spiral shell too! I had a fun time on the beach.

Russ reccomended a place to eat called Low Tide, just off the beach . He said they had killer fries. There were dogs EVERYWHERE! This one planted itself under our table and waited to get lucky. It didn't take long!
Noah occupied himself while Neena and I ate. Nice bum bum Noah!

Noah was playful with Neena on the cab ride home

Then he got very sleepy and was laying all over the place until we got to the hotel.

When we got back Noah and I went to play on the beach outside our hotel. He had lots of fun in the gooey, wet sand!
Noah has so much fun playing in the sand!
