I miss everybody, even though I don't talk to most of the family very often anyways, it just makes me miss you all more knowing that I am further away. Plus it is a little lonely over here.
K, I will be touch tonight from Arenal!Hey, a funny story from yesterday: At my doctors apt yesturday I let Noah sit on my stomach during my ultrasound and shots since he screamed last time when someone had to take him. It was so sad, he did the sign please over and over begging to stay with me. So this time i held him. When the doctor was done he said, "You know, after the embryo transfer, you will not be able to raise your son anymore." I was so confused and he repeated himself. I thought, why in the world would i not be able to raise Noah?! Then of course it clicked that he meant "lift". I was not looking at the doctor when he was talking, and Neena said he was motioning up with his hands, so she knew what he meant. I thought it was funny. Just another language barrier thing.
So Scott made it in fine from Maryland. He had a long trip, but was very lucky with his seats and had lots of space! As soon as he arrived we took a shuttle from the airport to the Arenal Volcanoe. It was about 3 hours. I was nervous about the hotel since I made the reservation on the fly, just hours before we arrived, but it is beautiful!!!! We have a perfect view of the volcano from our bungalow. There is a beautiful garden and a nice pool. They have a resturaunt with yummy food and breakfast is free!
When we arrived to the hotel, we got dinner just after settling in. It was so yummy. Then we went for a swim. Noah loved the pool this time.
Then we actually got ready for bed and all went to sleep around 7pm!
I had to start taking a new medication on the 7th to make it so I don't ovulate. The needles is longer than the needle for the Gonal F. Neena has been giving me my shots, but was afraid to give me the shot with a longer needle. I tried to do it, but had a hard time doing it. Plus it made it harder with Noah crying, and trying to crawl on my stomach to stop us from giving me the shot. Finally I just went out in the hall(at 6am) and found a lady with an open door and asked her to do it. She did it with no problem, but then said that she is actually afraid of needles, but if you need a shot, you need a shot. Then I really felt like a whip! Today Scott arrives, and we will be able to give them to me.
I had a bad reaction to the Cetrotide today. After a few hours the redness went away and I just had a little bruise.
Yeah! Finally we are all together again!
It felt like a long ride to the Arenal Volcano
Luckily Noah slept for a good part of the ride!
Finally we arrived to the hotel. Are my feet always that dirty?
The hotel is very nice. They made the towels look like swans!
Noah liked the swans...
He destroyed them as fast as possible!
There is a beautiful garden in front of our bungalow!
And this is the view of the volcano just out our front door!
We love the peaceful surroundings.
and the great view!
It is nice having a private bungalow!
