When we came back from breakfast our room was clean and we had a new animal sitting on our bed! How creative!
Noah found his sunglasses and had soooo much fun trying them on.
We went into town to get our laundry done. It was going to be a 1.5 hour wait, so we were looking for something to kill the time. Just in front of the laundry place was an ATV rental. Although it may be a little crazy to go with a baby, we decided to go for it! Noah cried when we first put on his helmet, but then he was pretty much okay with it.
We had about a 10 or 15 minuted ride to the waterfall. There were soooo many stairs!!! See the video below.
The water was crystal clear and very blue. It was beautiful
Unfortunately we didn't come prepared with swim suits, but that didn't stop the boys.
In true boy fashion, Noah had fun playing in the sand. He sat naked on the hill and scooted down it like it was a slide. I decided not to show what his bum crack looked like after that, but I am sure you can guess!
Noah was sure to share some sand with Daddy.
We had so much fun wading around in the water, but eventually we got ready to head back up.
I loved how when we asked Noah to smile for the picture, he moved in and pressed his face against mine.
Noah loved passing over these bridges. They were high up and transparent so you could see the ground. It was kinda scary, but Noah would hop out of our arms and run across! He had so much fun!
The stairs were exhausting! They seemed to go on forever. See the video below.
me on the ATV in front of the base of the hike.
Noah was cool with his helmet on the way home. The noise and bouncing of the ATV made Noah fall asleep on the way back. See the video below.
Noah was completely out by the time we got back to the rental place. He slept on the way back to the hotel, and half way through lunch at the hotel restaurant.
After lunch we went to the pool. Noah had lots of fun watering Scott. Below is a video from yesterday of Noah and Scott playing in the water

At most of the hotel they have a bath type spout in the showers. It is strange. I don't really know what it is for, except maybe washing the sand off your feet????
Noah really likes it though! It is the perfect height for him to play with the water.
This morning we got up at 5:00, but breakfast is not served until 7:00
We decided to take a nice walk around the garden.
There are motor bikes and ATVs parked in front of the office, so Noah had fun playing with those.
We walked by the pool. Noah thought the water felt nice.
So he thought he might jump in!!
Finally breakfast was ready!
It was worth the wait!!!
Since breakfast is from 7:00 to 9:30, Scott went back and had a second breakfast!
Noah has fun pushing these recycle bins so that they swing back and forth.
This morning Scott gave me my shots with out a problem. He just did it with no hesitation. What a good man nurse! When I asked if he could do them for me he said, "of course honey, what ever you need." What a good husband!
Unfortunately there were a couple other problems with my meds this morning.
My medications have to be refrigerated. I had them in a small bottle cooler with an ice pack for our 3 hour trip to Arenal. Then when we arrived at the hotel, I put the whole pack in the refrigerator. When I went to take my meds this morning, I realized that the refrigerator was not plugged in!! I took my shots anyways. I had to wait 5 hours for the pharmacy and the doctors to open. The pharmacist says that the medications are no longer good and I will need new ones. The doctor says that since it is cool here, they will be fine, and that they are only damaged if they are warmer than 25 degrees Celsius, and it was cooler than that. Well I have an apt tomorrow, so I will see how it is all going, but the problem is that then it will be the weekend, and the pharmacy will be closed.
I hope all is good. It would be terrible to ruin it all with a stupid mistake like not plugging in the fridge!
The other problem is that the cetrotide comes as crystals in an ampule, and the solvent is in the syringe. You need to attach a large needle to inject the solvent into the ampule, and when the crystals are dissolved, you suck it all back into the syringe and take the shot(with a different needle) I guess the large needle was not on all the way, because when I injected the solvant into the ampule, almost all of it leaked out onto the bed! I only had a tiny bit of solvant in with the crystals, but they did dissolve so i just used the little bit I had. I think it should be fine though since I injected all of the cetrotide.
That was a stressful moment!

Sarah was looking at these photos with me and all of a sudden yelled, "He's so mean!" I asked her what she meant and she pointed to the photo of Noah in the swing and said "He's in my swing! He just took it!" LOL!!!
In what swing? I need to look at the photos again...
